CARE:
The CARE emergency relief recovery centre is located at Troode Street Church in Albany and is open most weeks on Monday and Friday mornings.
CARE aims to offer assistance through a variety of endeavours to provide support for clients to recover independence and stability following an emergency or personal crisis.  There is an expectation that those seeking financial relief will take advantage of the Budget Mentoring for a persistent financial issue.  Referrals and advocacy with other agencies are made on behalf of the clients to promote recovery.  The trained Chaplains are available for spiritual, emotional and social support.
CARE is managed by volunteers.  Appointments made will get priority on the day. Financial relief may be provided in the form of food vouchers and payment of essential bills, after an interview with staff, and guidelines adhered to.
CARE is funded by personal donations, donations from Troode St Church, FACSIA grants and LotteryWest grants.
